I think whenever single sped chains get discussed on here, the KMC Z610 gets good reviews, so I'm going to try the buy cheap and often approach as an alternative to my usual £40 Rohloff chain.

Is there any difference between the Silver and Rustbuster versions apart from the coating and price ?

It's going on my commuter, so it's going to get ridden and oiled every day.

I run the silver Z510s, which I assume is the equivalent 1/8 chain, on track and fixie bikes. Fixie goes out in all weathers and chain lasts and looks OK. Cheap as Chips as well!

OK thanks.
I just wondered if the silver was some sort of zinc plating and if I was going to use and oil the chain every day I could get away with the cheaper brown one.
I'm not bothered what it looks like and it's not going to get a chance to go rusty.
