We bought our boy a Dawes blowfish for Christmas and whilst it's great the brakes are rubbish. They are cantilever. What I'm asking is, can I get some better brakes or even put regular adult brakes on? Didn't know if there would be issues with it fitting the wheels?

No idea if they'd fit but Islabike brakes are excellent for little hands and I think you can buy them separately.

My lads got formula rxs on his bike with hope floaters,he's 8 !,& says they're awesomeeee!. 🙂
