Just seeming to be out every day having a blast! It does wonders for your spirits.

Have a local loop which is by no means technical, it features a couple of laps of a BMX track, some cracking singletrack and a small wooded trail with jumps etc.

Just wanted to get it off my chest; just bursting to get back out on the bike although my legs say 'NO!'

i'm just sick of the mud, me. been out today in the woods trying too sort some drainage and stuff, don't get me wrong, i like a dirty one as much as the next guy, but i prefer a fast one :wink:too many people seem to just blast through the woods with no thought for looking after the trail. rant over, no wait, gonna start a thread, see ya

You lucky gits, I can't wait to get back on the bike. Spending way too much time on here while wishing I could go out.

I seem to be lucky where I am; the trails have been bone dry almost the day after it stopped pouring, although the rain didn't stop me!

GW I broke my leg skiing in Jan, found out it was broken 5 weeks ago. I have another 10 week's until I can get on my bike for a gentle ride. I don't care what the weather is doing I will be going out.

I don't doubt it! walking around on a broken leg for nearly 5mths sounds pretty hard core! 8)

Get well soon!

Ps. depending on your break, uplifted DH may still be possible with a broken leg.

Cheers matey. I don't think I will be risking an uplift day I have big plans for riding next year and don't want to jeopardize them. I'm going to be so careful I will be riding my 160mm FS around the local wood. Slowly.

Too true!
I went for a cracker of a ride lasts night - bone dry, grippy trails ๐Ÿ™‚
Brilliant mix of trail too - flinty bw, narrow single track, sandy Heath, sloppy stones!
Riding rocks!

Any reports on the Mendips today? It seems there's quite a variation as to how boggy places are ATM.

Well I've always been like it TBH!

However it's a slightly mixed blessing as I really can't slow down! So trying to relax is a waste of time; relaxation is when my head hits the pillow and I'm out cold! The more sport I do, the more I need to do; I'm sure that's the same with most though.

Drives my wife up the wall, but she knows there's no point fighting it, I'll be slightly calmer once I've done an hour or so of exercise! I guess there are worse issues to have!

I'm loving it as well. Spent a few hours up at Woburn today on my hardtail and it was awesome, I love getting new lines sorted on the FS then moving back to the HT to make them a bit scarier again ๐Ÿ˜€ Thing is I feel a bit like I'm wearing myself out, constantly tired but it's that good tired feeling. I have to ride at least one of my bikes a day otherwise I feel like I've wasted the day/been a fat shit and done no exercise! Speaking of which, 30 mile road ride tomorrow if it's dry, then bmxing on Friday ๐Ÿ™‚
