Help

I'm fitting a brand new SLX Front derailleur and having got the tension correct have found that the derailleur has jammed solid after shifting up to the big ring.

I've loosened off all cables and the H/L screws to no avail, I've also removed the derailleur from the frame to see if I can figure what has happened, no luck though.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Matt

Sorry? Pic of a jammed derailleur? It'll look like a derailleur sitting above the big ring with an entirely slack cable.

Thanks
Matt

can only think something has got jammed inside the parallelogram which is stopping it closing to the granny ring position. Have seen it happen a few times on the trail when small stones have got stuck in there.
Other than that, do you have the worlds only rapid rise front mech?

Problem sported, it was dual ring, even the shop were surprised, full refund given 🙂
