[Closed] Irrationally cool bikes?

I have a customer who occasionally brings in one of these:[img] [/img]
His is an older model in yellow with a rigid fork and recently I had to ride it outside the shop to identify a creak that was bothering him. With 24 inch wheels it's far too small for me but as soon as I set off I was struck by how smooth it rode and the air of 'completeness' that came from having the three speed hub, factory fitted mudguards and dynamo lights. Now I know it's probably the cycling equivalent of admitting to listening to Bucks Fizz or fancying Miranda Hart but every time I see that bike I feel myself wanting to ride it. Not far and not fast but for some unknown reason the thought of just bimbling about on it appeals to me.
Anyone else?

fancying Miranda Hart

sick ****!

This one was in the back of the guardian mag this weekend.
Ms Pidd dint particularly love it, and at £1k it's a bit steep, but then you could probably only just build an inbred with much the same spec for bout that.
