anyone doing this next weekend down durham ways ? am doing mtb and night orienteering for a team of 2 , my mate is doing the longer running parts

Both of us crocked with cold and i have dodgy ankles atm 😀

great start !

Not heard much about the event though

I considered it, but thought the price was too steep, as it is for most mtb/ adventure races. Shame, as the format looked interesting and the venue has potential. Be interesting to see what you make of it.

looking at the entry list only name i recognise is craig dolwin , but i cant think why ?

Thought rob jebb might had a go seeing as he is handy on a bike , and can run like forest gump too

I entered before xmas when it was £50 for all 6 races (I may have been inebriated at the time!) The Sunday race was a 4 hour trailquest - was disapointed when they changed it to an enduro.

Still not sure if I'll do the first 8 mile run - 900m climbing in 8mile - sounds pretty hellish to me!

So - what sort of fitness levels do you guys have?

I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be hobbling in last on most of the races!

Just got the final email from Si.

Seems odd the MTB time trial talks about a duration, not a distance - surely they know the length of 1 lap?
