[Closed] Internal cable routing through bottle boss.

I have a hollow bottle boss on the seat tube of my XC bike. I don't use it for a cage.

Has anyone ever successfully tried to run a cable (in this case, for an internally routed dropper) through these holes? It would be a bit of a tight cable bend (vertically from the boss), but you might be able to mitigate that with some cable liner and a tongue set - perhaps even something a bit stiffer.

I could just buy a collar-actuated post, but they are often a lot heavier and the routing is less pretty for my bike. The cable would go down the downtube and pop up into the bottle boss.
