Hi,
Just checking to see whats the cheapest way to insure/ship a bike? Looking at a value of £1600 sold on Ebay, so far im looking at around £100 insured!

Check your home insurance policy, mine confirmed that a bike in transit was covered by the away from home part of my contents cover. Possibly worth getting it in writing

Maybe, but it's not the OP's now.
Is it much of a saving for just shipping vs shipping/insurance?

It's around £80 to insure.
