Having just worked out how much all are bikes are worth in the shed just scared me. In all we have £9500 worth. so thought i would check with house insurance and they told us we would get 500 if they where stolen. Anyone know of companys that cover sheds and bikes

I hate renewing my home insurance for this reason. Every time I have to explain to someone on the phone how much $$$ of bikes I have stashed somewhere.
Is there an alarm on that sir,
are there any windows without locks on sir?
Is it just me that gets paranoid? Anyway I've all but decided that bikes are more or less uninsurable.

We've been with aviva and cover 4500 for each bike have 6 bikes on the policy. When had 2 bikes stolen earlier this year they covered the full amount. The cover as long in a locked shed or garage and no requirement for type licks etc. the house cover is oretty reasonable about 450 renewal after the theft and is unlimited contents and usual extras.
