Anyone live around the Innerleithen/Peebles area? Is access OK to the inners car park?

No. Best park up in the village.

Maybe if you have a monster truck, a hovercraft or a boat - otherwise park up in the village.

it floods Spock, which is probably what Goan is helpfully alluding to.

I am guessing there more reliable ways of finding out than asking him

The Tweed is the highest I've seen it. It was up on the road at Cardrona earlier today. So the carpark will be flooded. Whether the bridge is open or not I dont know.

Water will be higher than last w/e. Last w/e I reckon the carpark was about 1' of river level off being flooded. This w/e I reckon it will be underwater.
According to wheresthewater.com the Tweed is currently at over "6" on the gauge. Anything over 3.5 is off the scale...

Took this at about 10am this morning. We didn't try and ride thru that. Went to Glentress instead. At about 2.30pm my mate got a message to say that the uplift is going ahead tomorrow, so the water must have dropped. Suppose that'll depend on the rain forecast for tonight.

That's a pretty scary picture.

Forecast is for a couple of inches more rain tomorrow too...

Think there might be a change of plan on the uplift though... just speaking to Tally and sounds like the uplift is cancelled.

Also looks that way on the website.

Radio Scotland's saying it's the worst flooding for 20 or 30 years in some areas.

We were lucky (so far) on the East coast.
