I like the url for lapierre bikes under the Trek Fuel EX 9.8 picture. I can imagine that will go down well at Trek. ๐
In other news: pieces of string found to be of indeterminate length.
It also says the 9.8 is the lightest Fuel Ex, as opposed to the 9.9, and why do most of them have the URL in the 'cost' field. Slow clap for the editor there.
Feels more like an arbitrary list tbh. Some of those are spectacularly ordinary but popular choices.
Newspaper in "commenting on specialist field and getting it wrong" shocker.

and with help from some bods who apparently know:
Tony Farrelly is the former editor of โCycling Plusโ magazine and now runs Road.cc, home to news and reviews for road-bound riders;
Jeff Jones is editor of Bikeradar.com , whose cycle-mad staff helped him pick great mountain bikes for all budgets.
FOLD-UPPashley Guv'nor
The pre-eminent purveyor of British-made cycles does a fine line in rides for the gent about town. The steel Guv'nor has three speeds, leather trim and bags of style.

I'd like to see you fold that warship of a gate

MOUNTAINTrek Fuel EX 9.8
Jeff says the lightest version of Trek's popular Fuel EX series 'reacts positively when you put the power down and handles sharply even in the worst conditions. The rear end completes the package'.

...didn't know LaPierre were touting Treks ๐
at least brompton made it into the list
Personally i think the 853 Lobster rides nicer than the Ti.
Apart from the chopper which I'm excluding because they've shown the modern version and not the original, I've never owned nor ridden any of those bikes.
ZOMG '10 Raleigh Chopper
*wants*
Was never aware of the Dahon Mu Uno before, but really want one now.
Sleek, matt black, SS, light, nice folding mechanics, places doing them for under ยฃ400 (nearly half Brompton's starting price now). What's not to like?
I know this is really obvious but I don't think the intended audience for that article includes the anally retentive work-shy STW massiv.
