I've been offered a brand new special blend at a really good price by a mate who's opening a new bike shop. I was thinking about just getting the SL frame and swapping the parts over from my C456 but Special Blend is such a good offer I'm tempted to get it - my only question really though is how much (if any) of a compromise are the shocks?

The better frame? Which one is that, I though it was just an SL with X-fusion shocks rather than Fox?
Xfusion shocks are as good as the entry fox shocks for most riders.

Special Blend is indeed the SL - I did look at the SLR but the cost to change virtually everything over from the C456 that I'd want to keep made it too much.. (Wedding coming up in a couple of months!)

Yeah Phil +2, how much can your buddy sell them for as I'm possibly interested, nowt wrong with the new xfusions so I keep reading, look good too which counts for everything and for the coffee comment, your spot on.
