i watched that orange rx9 the thing advert the other day. and i'm sure that was why, on the way home, i decided that my road bike would do the job just as well. which it did until it punctured and the front wheel bent a bit. fun while it lasted tho.

Ha, if you haven't got a CX bike then don't be under the impression that they're much tougher.
I regularly brace myself as I "send it" over a bit of mild bridleway gnar, only to stop two seconds later with a flat tyre.
