Anybody been over Cutgate recently??
I'm thinking of going over that way tomorrow for a change and with the recent nice weather it should be nice and dry/fast. Has any of it been sanitized like other parts of the Peak??

Cheers
Carl

Nice one, tis always a good choice of route shame the weather gets involved at times.

Never seen it so dry up top, less fun in a way cos the direct but wet line choice for ripping past your mate isn't really on!

mind you forecast rain yesterday (fri) and we didn't get any

here is wednesday .. arid

as to sanitising - stuff towards eastern end done a couple of years ago is pretty weathered, the slabs take out some of the very worst of the peat (though personally i enjoy the challenge but not the ever widening tracks) again been there a couple of years

Was awesome last sunday. Really dry and sandy in places. Got very sunburnt and stuck in traffic, as the woodhead was shut on the way home though ๐Ÿ˜€

The weather wasn't far wrong, light rain and a bit of wind, still I ventured out as did a few others I saw, under tyre was still nice and fast and can't complain as had a great ride. No more sanitation than last time I rode it so that was nice, but looks like the heavy rain and bad weather we have had in the last 4-5 months have made the ruts a bit worse through the peat.
