My best ideas always come to me in the shower. No idea why but they do so I often jump out the shower and go straight to the shed to try whatever hair brain idea I just dreamt up while washing by bollocks 😉

BTW it's a pair of bottoming taps you'll be receiving, so you'll need to be careful to make sure they start straight, as bottoming taps are not quite so forgiving at starting straight, unlike taper taps, especially if you're not starting them into a nice clean couple threads.

Coca cola, or Pepsi if you must. The acid in that will eat through the metal, then just start to turn it either way a little bit, soak, turn, soak, turn until it comes out. Done a seatpost like that.

I’ve used Coke a few times in a shallow tub and sit the bb in it. I’ve also had some success with plumbers freeze spray. Never had to resort to cutting the frame in half though!!.
