Just snapped a t-type x01 chain after 210 miles, sl ebike mainly used in eco, how have others been doing?

Want to get a feel for whether it's bad luck or typical.

I've just broken an X0 T-type chain after maybe 100 miles if that. Inner plate, not impressed considering the price of the chain.

People are using T-type mechs with standard eagle cassettes with no issues.

Is T-type chain a must or will better XO chain work? I've not broken these on a full fact ebike. Is flat-top chain a marketing gift?

Flat top chains have a larger roller diameter, therefore you run into meshing issues on the cassette.
