Or is it more 'gunmetal'..?

From the internet photo thingys, it looks like a kind of dull pewter, but this, of course, could all be different in the flesh.

The older silver Thomson Elite stem I own is a kind of radiant, eye-bleeding silver, but I'm hoping these newer ones are more gunmetally 8)

Any ideas?

I'm beginning to wonder if it is actually just the photos! Shame - cos I was hoping they'd started doing a grey pewter colour, which would look rather pimpin... The photos on CRC (unlinkable, unfortunately) are very much more gunmetal looking than these. But none of these are exactly bright silver. Perhaps it's just the photos..?

Yes, that's it!! The 'new' - aka: CRC Thomson silver!!

Kind of pewter, if you ask me, but then it's probably just the photo, init?

Shame..
