As above, center of crank bolt to the floor, I'm thinking of putting 700c wheels on the HT with 700X30 CX tyres ready for winter, wondering if the BB will be to high?

PS, I have more than one bike before you all start on the winter bit 😉

Cheers in advance.

overall wheel diameter is about the same.

559+60+60=679mm
622+30+30=682mm

the BB height will change by half the diameter, eg 1.5mm in the example above.

Cheers, but say I thought the BB was a bit high, how high should a CX BB be?

High enough so that the the pedals to miss the ground but low enough that you don't have your knees up your nose when you pedal

Anyone else fancy measuring theirs for me?
Mine is currently 13"s with 2.1's, I'm thinking this may not work.

Resurrection time, wheels & tyres have arrived, BB is 13" almost to the MM, anyone else care to comment or measure theirs?

I've had a quick spin, I don't see a problem with the 'high' BB, but if anyone fancies explaining the benefits of a lower BB before I consider splashing out the best part of £1K on a new frame, then I'm all ears...

Cheers in advance.
