Any ideas!i've got hope x2s and i'm running 10 speed so i've just one shifter, a shimano slx which makes it awkward to change gear, need a shifter that will come further past the lever.

Do you mean you can't reach the shifter lever because the brake clamp is too wide? Just swap them over if that's the case.

Think you can get a spacer to fit to the lever to push it past the brake lever. I am sure someone more resourceful will be along to post you a link 😉

I run my shifter inboard of the brake lever - problem solved!
