It works well if you spray it on leave for a couple of mind and then use a sponge in hot clean water to lather it up then rinse off, it's not like muc off where you can spray on the just run the hose over it.

Same here. I find it works better than Muc Off and does a grand job of removing brake dust from my car wheels and flies from the bumper 🙂

No complaints here either - everything comes up realy clean, just leave it for a few minutes before 'agitating' and rinsing.

Oh, also great from removing grease from carpet, as I discovered the other day 😉

Still don't understand why you need to use anything other than washing up liquid and water. I havn't found anything it won't shift, it's cheaper and kinder to the environment. I know there is a bit of salt in it, but as long as you give the bike a good hose afterwards its no problem

I tried to clean my spanky new road bike last night with a sponge and warm soapy water. it didn't work well, much of the road residue just transfered to the sponge making it very dirty. Reverted back to Sh1t shifter and that worked much better, road grime came off and the cleaning tools being used rinsed through afterwards. Only thing it's not cleaned succesfully was again for the first time on the road bike. I just road it, I normally dgrease and relube new chains. Whatever was on the chain to start with got gunked up with road dirt (100 miles) and was a real PITA to shift. Ended up using white spirit to remove the gunk followed by Sh1t Shifter to remove the white spirit.

I also find Sh1t Shifter works well on soiled boncy castles 😉

I use Sh1t shifter mixed 50/50 with water in a garden pump up pressure sprayer and find the only thing it won't shift despite using it with a brush is sheep sh1t. For everything else it's brill and mixing 50/50 means it's pretty economic. Shop around and you can buy the 25 litre pots for about £75 - bargain when you split it with your mates.
