So, I have some Hope lights that are elderly and well out of warranty.
I think the battery on the R2i on my commuter is dying, and the R4 on the MTB has an iffy connector.
Does anyone know if Hope refurb them?
Give then a call - pretty sure they can !
MTB batteries used to re-cell them. As for the connector the easiest fix there is to get/use one of the splitter cables for spare parts.
Another shout for MTB Batteries, they’re very good indeed. Sorted the connectors and cells on my Hope lights after some very Welsh weather!
Hope have refurbed two of their lights for me, and didn't charge me for either
In my experience, Hope offer amazing support for their older lights.
As above - get in touch with Hope directly - my lights are about 12 years old and they've been sorted directly by them three times in that time - and they only charged me on the third occasion, when the lights were probably 5 years out of warranty! They are an amazing company in my opinion - unbelievably helpful
