I’ve got an old Hope Vision HID light. Two batteries, both of which don’t last much more than 30 minutes. Has anyone had battery packs “recelled”?
Seems a waste to throw out a perfectly good light due to batteries.

Yeap. Got the cells from MTB batteries and fitted into the machined case myself. I have the 4 cell stem mount battery but converted it from 14.8V to 7.4V as part of the re cell so I can use it with a hope led instead.
