yep some of you may remember my thread on this subject, but the majority of you said you wud prefur the Thompson seatpost...
as i dont have my seatpost that high anyway as im a short arse.... maybe you wouldnt see so much of the post... i,lll wait till the LBS gets them in and have a trail look at it on my bike b4 i decide to get Thompson or Hope...
**** me thats pricey
18bikes has 0ne - thing of beauty!
Best clamping system out there (same as Bonty, Spesh and USE though USE is slightly different), RRP of £62 so probably about £50 - £55 real world, that's pretty good.
That site suggests RRP is £69.99.. same as the headsets, so real world £58-63
Hmm, that said Bonty and USE versions are available at a far cheaper prices, need to see the weight to make a judgement.
I was about to ask the weight, can't find it anywhere but doubt it's easton carbon league.
Seems a good price to me, don't remember spending less than a ton on a seatpost for the last few years.
Hope is not the same system - both sides are independent bolts
yeah, what ralph said - two separate sides/bolts. we've got one to show, can take preorders as soon as anyone wants - I've got backordered, pretty sure they're not available just yet....
Will they be available in the usual range of anodised colours?
I think I read they'll be available in any colour as long as it's black!
black only for the post, with silver clamp bits

but later (who knows how much later..) the clamp parts should be available in the usual colour range.
27.2/30.9/31.6 x 400mm inline, with layback to follow, all being well

we have one, its pretty nice
i still prefer Thompson to that
oooh I like that. Need the red caps though.
IMO the Thomson design is better and under £50 - on the Thomson the clamp supports the saddle rails rather than clamping either side and adjusting the tilt is easily done by slackening/tighening the relevant bolts by the same amount. Had a USE Sumo and would never use that style again, even with independant bolts the design looks too similar.
