Will the Hope Tech M4 Lever/Master cylinder combo work with the older Hope M4 Calliper?
I've bought the new Tech M4 brakes and find the levers a little "busy', with the reach and bite point adjusters, for my new build.
I have to change the hoses anyway so might as well swap them over from one of my other bikes if they are compatible.
Probably better to ring Hope and ask, they're pretty good on the phone (less so on email by all accounts). In theory, yes it will work, as it's all an open system, but it may be like road vs mtb cable disks, where the same lever throw moves the caliper a differing amount - it will depend on how much fluid the levers move, I suppose
