1:1 water has worked for me. Someone had a recipe including slime, anti-freeze and perhaps even fairy liquid, can't remember who - worth a search?

I dont have first hand experience of this but had read with interest about the antifreeze, and also adding glitter to the mix as apparently it greatly increased the puncture sealing capabilites..

I had a quick look and couldnt find where I had read it, but some determined googling should find the info..

I tried just water, it dried out in no time (2 months) and became a nice tree shaped (!?) lump of latex. I've since added a bit of talc and a bit of fairy to the mix.

Not home made I know, but I buy this in my local hardware shop for £3.99 for 250ml. Thats enough for 2 wheels and cheaper than buying antifreeze and talc! Oh and it works too. I'm using it on tubeless wheels set with non tubeless tyres. Needed topping up with air after the first few rides but now hold great preasure for ages.
