Just got a few of the new MTG-2 Leds in to have a play with
Approx 2000 lumens per led at 3 amps

Now what to do with them
Mtg 2 on top XMLs in the middle and XPG2 bottom
Great for a flood beam - pretty hard to harness I guess given the size of them.
Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

What optics are availble to go with the MTG-2?
Have you found anything to drive them at 3amps?
Optics a few available but I have non yet
yes the B3flex or Lflex or Hbflex will all power them from differing voltages .
Have installed a couple in a Spidereyes case to see how they perform

Ooh, very nice Mr T. Might be looking to 'modify' the single MC-E helmet light to take one...Do you know if there are any reflectors available?

How soon do you think before we start seeing the firefly nano coating, Trout? Not before they've hit a ceiling with the current rate of lumen doubling, I guess?
