excuse my ignorance on all things roadie, but if he was a doper would he not have failed a drug test at some point in his career. I would assume that with multiple wins in big races he would have been screened very closely?

this has been covered before today,

in brief, Hincapie has said on Twitter that he never spoke to 60mins. he does not deny what they are claiming though so make of that what you will.

There is definitely a witch hunt on and lance is going down, his innocence or guilt is now of no relevance, he will be convicted.

If you use performance enhancing drugs correctly you wont get caught, masking agents, the nature if the drugs, and never use them during races but only in training etc.

Lance has as far as i know never said he has never taken drugs, what he has said is he has never been tested positive. Although there is ongoing questions about tests around the 2000? TdF, and i have also heard comments about the Tour du Suisse from the same era.

At the time of these allagations you couldn't test for EPO

He still kicked all the other dopers arses. Most people who are adamant that Armstrong doped also suggest that nearly all the riders were/are doping, so I can't really see why they seem upset he won stuff.

Tend to agree with glenh. If as suggested the pros were all at it in this era.

If he did take drugs like all the rest of them that makes him even better in my book. Not only did he beat them, he was smarter than them.
