Travel to the highest point in every county?!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_English_counties_by_highest_point
or at least travel to by whatever means, not necessarily by bike as it's not legal on all summits ๐
How many can you count off that you've done already? I've got 5.
I should imagine the ones in the south of england would be relatively easy compared to the north, given the elevations.

17 Cornwall 420 314 Brown Willy SX158800
i've yet to climb brown willy. maybe this year...
Are all those points accessible by bike? Legally?
Edit reread post, ignore me...
I've only, knowingly, got 2, but they are in the top 4 ๐
I've got 1....third place for me so far! ๐ ๐
No Tom, it was just a thought and I thought it was more bike relevant than not so put it in bike forum.
Carry out some research into if you like.
You can do Shining tor (cheshire) cheeky as it's a relatively unpopular area for walkers. The Staffs one is just off the macc forest loop, would be easy enough. There's bridleways across parts of Kinder scout (derbyshire)
Got quite a few of the Welsh ones!
Actually, looking at that list I have 4! Not bad considering.
Very interesting, three or four done already.
Unlikely to tick off too many more TBH.
Edited for redundancy.
I think I'm on about 10-11 on that list.
Lots of hiking with DofE, Cadets & mates.
Actually, make that 6 ๐

4 by bike the rest on foot.

Edit legally to the best of my knowledge
Edit again 8 out of the first ten
I've definitely done the City of London one. I think I might hesitate to try and get the Cornish one.
11 I think, though 5 of those in the top 6. 3 or 4 by bike (not sure about High Holborn)
I can claim 1 for definite, illegally on a bike! That would be the whole 278m of Bardon Hill in Leicestershire.
Hoping to be able to tick off number one by the end of May as well and for all the walking and biking I've done in the Peak, I've never been all the way to Kinder Scout.
1,2,4,5,13,16,19 and 48
Grew up in West Mids and never heard of Tuners Hill!!
Newbury cc do a time trial up Walbury Hill every year!
Met a lad in buttermere a few weeks back who's planning on cycling round the whole UK this summer, walking up the highest top in each county.
I pointed him in this direction for route advice, and offered him the van to kip in and a hot shower when passing through.
Keep an eye out for him.
Nice idea - just need to retire, and find time to do this
Had thoughts about a similar thing, simply visiting all of the county towns.
