Just listened to his last words, surely there can't be many people like this left in the world. RIP

Must admit I was saddened to hear of his death as I had watched his plans and pre adventure interviews in awe of what he was attempting. My thoughts are with his family and friends who he leaves behind.

Very sad but he went doing what he wanted I suppose. Ranulph Fiennes springs to mind!

He was someone still pushing the boundaries.

I shared it on Faceache under the heading "This Is Hardcore".

Big respect to him for pushing up to, and past, his limits. I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted to go any other way.

Shackleton was his hero, and Worsley will become a hero for the next generation of explorers.
RIP.

He even has a name that sounds like an explorers name.
