[#1290289]

i suffer from very sore wrists, to the point of having to take ibuprofen every day when i get home.
i rode dropped bars today and yeterday, and this has inflamed the pain greatley.
i wear a wrist guard in bed to keep my wrist straight to stop me from bending it and putting it under my chest when sleeping.
if i ride in the same hand position i cannot straighten my wrists without extreme pain.
help, what can i do.

tried ergon grips, they help a bit, but right hand goes dead.

phillips, right wrist broken twice and snapped tendon.

nick, would carbons be strong enough.

poor position of bars and seat to much weight on you bars and/or slight twist in the wrists. Experiment with your position

Try some bent bars like Brants Carnegie's Bars, they hold your hands and wrists in a more comfortable position than straight bars

After breaking my scaphoid last year I've had real issues with wrist pain. I use 661 wrist guard for riding (the massive one), ergon grips and carbon bar on the XC bike. I also adjusted bar/stem/saddle height so that I put less weight onto my wrists when riding. I can ride ok, but it still hurts. I don't think having a desk job & using mouse/keyboard helps.

jedi, seen the quack a bit ago, he say's not carpal tunnel thing.
johnclimber, used marys, carniegies and h bars in the past, to no avail.
mary's were the best tho, might give em another blast.

thinking of maybe seeing a chiropractor, but dont know if they can do owt for wrists.
thank god the shanking left hand is the best......... ๐Ÿ˜‰
