I'm in the market for a new set of forks for my Canyon AL29. Currently it's got a pair of Fox 32 CTD evolutions which I'm not too impressed with so would like to have a little upgrade. At the same time, i'd like to try running a slightly longer 120mm travel fork. With this in mind, what are my options and recommendations? I might invest in a long legged full sus frame at some point in the future so a longer fork which can be shimmed down isn't out of the question ie; the new Pike. Otherwise, what is out there? SID's? X-Fusion? Any other suggestions?
bit of a difference between a Pike and a Sid...
How about something nice?
DT Swiss XMM (stiffer, racier) or EXM (plusher), either 100 or 120 flavour.
200hours between services too.
Yeah, torn between future proofing with a longer fork for the frame upgrade or getting something more fit for the purpose of the frame I've got now
