hi guys have offered to help my mate fit his new hope ceramic BB to his orange five frame, hes currently running an xt BB, am i to just assume the hope will be fairly simple to install, just take out old one and bung new one in 😆 what about spacers drive side, or non drive side? should it have any, will it basically just be a straight swap?

Essentially a straight swap,one spacer on the drive side. If it's an older frame and he has a Race-Face chainset, it may be worth getting the shell faced back to the min. tolerance so there's no chance of too much pre-load on the bearings.

cheers guys, it was the spacer that was worrying me, so defo 1 spacer (which should already be there when take this one off)
he did havea race face c/set on it, but swapped it about a year ago for a new style xt one? hes had no problems so guessing that means everything was installed ok?
aye, as long as it turns and has no play i guess its fine 🙂
