Might benefit from a longer dropper post on that?

Looks like an unusually large amount of post showing.

Yeah I'm fairly tall. Dropper is only 200mm, got a 240mm on the other bike so may swap them over at some point.

Did pop an old Charge Spoon on the bike though, much comfier.

WTB Saddles do take a while to bed in in my experience.Shows they're well made IMHO.

I’ve just spent slightly more (£2.5k) on the last of the Orange Stage Evos at Winstanleys - looking forward to giving it a ride next week (along with my new Exposure light!) 😁👍

@msjhes2 - They appear to have found some large bikes behind the sofa, as they're now showing in stock.

So bit of an update. Weather up here over the last week has been crap, and local trails are mud fests, so only been out on short local rides.

However went up/over to Grenoside this morning with the boy and the GT Sensor. Did Steel City exclusively, and the new bike was much more rapid than the HT. Braking bumps and carved up berms were basically ironed out. Was able to carry much more speed through the corners, and was even keeping up with the boy towards the end, and he's normally much faster than me.

Bike also gave me the confidence to double up on some of the jumps as coming up short and tapping the rear wheel didn't result in me being nearly catapulted over the bars.

So yeah for bigger faster stuff it's a big thumbs up from me.

Need to take it on some more natural local trails which I aim to do over the winter break in a week or so.

Sorry no photos, I was too busy having a great time.

Looks great. Am also looking for a bike around this budget. My only hesitation with the GT bikes is the warranty situation - did the shop you bought from cover/explain that at all?

That Norco doesn't seem a good deal, even at 2k
