Loads of light threads but mostly for bar mounts. I've trawled these and am set on a CandB Seen bar mount but also want a torch style helmet light.
Before I click buy on this [url= http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291001866929?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 ]Fluxient[/url] am I missing anything else better for similar money (I know torches from china can be had cheaper but need to then add batteries, charger, helmet mount and price becomes less of a factor)?
I've the CandB Seen 1200 lumens light, awesome bit of kit and well worth the money.
In the box you get a headtorch strap for it (not a helmet mount), the whole thing is a bit heavy and points too far down for it to be a good headtorch. I cut the straps off and mounted this to my helmet with a few zip-ties and it works perfectly as a helmet torch now! To the point where I don't have a bar mounted light, this this.
I have the Fluxient as my helmet light purchased from the same seller.
Find it to be superb with no problems at all.
Also fits in a Exposure Joystick mount.
Looks like i have all the excuses I need to buy then 😀
