Anyone done it? Is it worth the money?
Thinking about it for when were in chamonix next week.
Treated myself to a day of it in Canada. Booked it a week in advance and weather turned out a bit crap, but still an amazing day out. Worth the money, probably not. I've paid less for a week in St Anton. Would I do it again though, hell yeah! Just don't try to work out how many bike parts you could buy for the same amount.
Get a guide and do the Vallee Blanche or Argentiere glacier.
Valle blanch was an option, and much cheaper, but the hell boarding just sounded like a one off opportunity not to be missed.
Did it a few years ago on a McNab backcountry trip, had to go through Mont Blanc tunnel though as was told they don't allow helicopter pickup in France, not sure if its still the same?
Well worth it if you can afford it.
