Head tube is 44mm ID but forks are tapered

Is Hope the obvious choice?

hope is the way to go.

You could check out the Superstar and On-one tapered headsets as well

Cane Creek, Orbit, Nukeproof, On One etc all make them but Hope is British and Best!
