It seems I'm on a constant learning curve! When you think you've got something right it all goes Peter Tong!!!!

I'm helping brother build a Merida 700D FS and we were under the blissful believe that the majority of the components on he Marin he has will fit the new frame, we were wrong ๐Ÿ™

Most things I'm fairly confident we can sort however the headset has me befuddled, the guy we bought the frame from was adamant it was a standard 1 1/8!headset, we thought we had a CraneCreek S2 to fit the bill as it were, however its clearly too small I can only assume its a semi or integrated headset.

Any 700d owners please tell me ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it came with an FSA BB410, however I can't find many references to that headset on google.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
John.

Will this do as a cheap option?

Headset standards have become a nightmare, your best bet is to measure your frame and fork, and search through Hope's headset finder chart on their website to find the correct upper and lower assemblies.
