Well I thought I was going to buy the Contour HD
But have you seen the quality of the New improved GoPro Hero HD!

Video quality is much noticable better than the Contour HD
Only snag is the GoPro on the side of a full face helmet

Anyone busted there GoPro whilst coming off whilst crashing.

My full face blew off the top of the bike washes at Llandegla and landed directly on the camera (~4ft to concrete), one of the links in the mount snapped but the camera case was fine, not even scratched. You get loads of spare links in the mounting kit and I'm pretty sure you'd have to go through all of those before doing any real damage to the camera case, let alone the camera

Love my go pro camera, so can't even begin to imagine how good the HD version would be! Is it wide angle lens?

In terms of breaking the case, dropped mine loads and still works perfect!

Very impressive indeed!

I used a friend's older SD version over the summer and was impressed. The mounts are solid and reliable and for biking, the chest mount gives a better perspective than the helmet mount anyway (IMHO). The outercase is waterproof and tough and the lens cover is replaceable if you scratch it. It might not look pretty but I think this new HD version will definitely give the best results by a long shot.
