Am looking at getting on of these cheap muvi (MD60 or something) cameras from fleabay, £12-13 ish. Just wondered if anyone has got any riding footage of themselves using one? Ta

Not impressed. And that was using a nice and fast class 6 memory card.

Took this on Tuesday night - I've really struggled to get decent footage from my helmet.
Also loose some quality uploading to Youtube, but I've enjoyed playing with it.

I know it's more than you wanted to spend but.. the Flip Ultra HD is 69.99 at Amazon at the moment- there's a £50 off voucher at this page to knock it down from £120.

I've an MD80 off ebay and a 8gb class 6 (tancsend IIRC) off 7 day shop.

Image quality is really quite good, although apparently some class6 cards are better than others so maybe I've just been lucky. Doesn't cope very well in really dense woodland, but if you can see the sky then it seems to be enough light. Also struggles in bright sunlight, the sky is always over exposed.

I've not managed to get it to point in the right direction yet so if you want footage it will just be of the sky/my gloves/front wheel!

Everything on youtube looks crap though as its highly compressed.

Got a class 6 card, made a little chest mount (looks like a heavy-duty man-bra) and added a small wide angle lens.

have to excuse the mincing...

EDIT: I got the chunky rounder-looking MD80 - the image quality looks the same as the boxier variants.

I got one with a class 6 card and it's great, especially for the price, getting it pointing the right way can be a pain but quite happy with it and ime not fussed if it breaks. I've got some footage but I need to stick it all together. Will do it tonight
