[#7717887]

I'm going to a guided biking holiday in the summer and am looking at alternatives to carrying a backpack for my day gear (fully supported).

I was thinking something like the Wildcat gear but would really like something with an easy access compartment to stick my camera in.
Save getting the Lion AND Lioness, are there any simpler, sturdy options?

I intend to use the kit for some self supported tours in the future so it needs to be robust.

do you have a front rack? if so a trad shaped Randonneur bag is a beautiful thing and infinitely practical..

How big is your camera. Top tube bag sitting behind the stem? Bear in mind attached to the bike it'll take a beating.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

It's a micro 4/3 but will tend to have a small pancake lense attached so reasonably small.

Hadn't really considered it taking a beating above what they get in a backpack. I'll ask the guide but it's gonna be fairly non - technical riding so shouldn't be an issue.

Bought an apidura top tube/stem bag - lovely kit, but was mostly going to fill it with jelly babies. Might be worth a look as a brand though

Jelly babies...nom, nom, nom...
