On Sun 27th Apr I will be taking part in - Hand Bikes at Dawn '14: A Ridge Too Far! - using my experience as qualified MTB leader to head a team supporting one of the disabled hand bikers as they attempt the mountainous off-road Pont Scethin route on their Adapted MTB. It will be an arduous challenge that could take up to 9hrs to complete.

The aim of this event, as well a fund raising, is to increase awareness of disabled access to the outdoors and how it can greatly improve the quality of life for those with a huge range of disability. On Sat 26th Apr there will also be an entry level adapted cycling event open to all, that will be held on the cyclepath of the Mawddach Estuary, to showcase the range of adapted cycles that are available.

30% of the money raised will be going to each of the charities:

10% will be going to the local Mawddach Rotary Club as they are co-ordinating the funds.

Anything you could spare would be much appreciated by all these fantastic charities. To find out more details of the event and how to donate please visit my JustGiving page
