My local Halfords has these on offer just now - 2 for £65 - they look identical to Thule Freeride 515 (or something like that)...are they? If so they look to be a very good buy.
About to take ownership of an 09 Marin Mount Vision and these seem to be the only racks I can source locally that will take the bike.
Hi i have these racks, got a similar deal last year. I use them on my santa cruz heckler and they seems ok and look similar to Thule ones. The rack goes onto my Thule roof bars.
A few years ago, my friend turned up with Halfords roof bars on, I'd got Thule. They were *identical*, not sort-of-the-same, nearly etc etc...... absolutely the same apart from names.
A while later, talked to Thule about something else, and mentioned it, they just went " Hmmm....!!!!" on the phone!
Eyeball both carefully, and I suspect your assumptions are correct.
