Mrs fivespot very kindly and thoughtfully gave me this for Valentines day.

I bought this 22 years ago, and ashamedly hardly used it ๐Ÿ˜ณ . Then about 6 1/2 years ago got into mountain biking at the grand old age of 46. Hankering for a new bike and some garage space, I sold it to my brother-in-law, who like me, never used it either. Since then I have regretted selling it, and tried many times to buy it back, with no luck.
Apart from the period Tioga grips, its as it left the factory. I promise to use it more now ๐Ÿ˜†

The affordable face of the crazy Alpinestars design. That is really rather nice and to be in factory spec is great. Question is, will it be a garage queen?

All gone full circle what with those wonky seat tubes on 29ers.

I hope not ๐Ÿ˜ณ I plan on giving it the odd spin if we ever get some sun this year. I don't fancy those brakes in the wet though.

To be blunt, I don't fancy those brakes in the dry either.
