I have Friday off, and plan on heading up to the lake for the day. Looking for a good route to tackle. I've done Helvellyn, grisedale pike, nan bield. Want to try something different, any suggestions, has to have good descents!! Also if anyone is about for a ride I could maybe tag along on that would be great.

Walna scar from Coniston has some great descents on it. Got a GPX if you want it

If you're up for a bit of hike a bike, park in borrowdale, ride/push up stake pass, descend to langdale, carry up rosset full, ride on to esk hause and descend via styhead to stockley bridge. Brilliant! You could even bolt it on to the borrowdale bash for big day out.....

Skiddaw (search SkiddawSlateyScreamPlummetDeath on Strava) and Ulloch Pike is hard to beat on a clear day. Could do back o'Skiddaw first if you wanted to add mileage.
