[#7632336]

Just got myself a snazzy rock guards protector.
Did as it said warmed it in water for a few minutes to make it more pliable and it fits great.
The only problem is it now feels its on nice and tight and i presume it would be a nightmare to take on and off to clean?
Theres slight gaps all the way around the rockguardz where small stones or dirt can get in and rub against frame. i was thinking put a thin bead of clear silicone all the way around the edges. has anyone done this? good idea or bad idea?

Pops off and on no probs. Yes, mud gets inside, but hasn't marked my frame in over a years use.
