What have I forgotten? Got my bike, insurance and my friends is there anything else I need?
Have a spare set of brake pads and a puncture kit too.
Beer tokens?
You also need to remember to buff the trails nicely and keep the sun shining for when I'm out there in four weeks.
Enjoy (yeah right, like it's possible not to!). It's an awesome riding destination.
Just one spare set of pads ? Sintered if wet, organic if dry - a couple of sets of each minimum (although the shops in Bourg are pretty good for spares).
Passport stylee snaps for the liftpass ?
Who are you going with?
I'm going in a few weeks with mountain bike chalet. Can't wait!
Last year (August) the lift company had stopped asking for a photo for your lift pass, so assuming it's the same this year no need.
I reckon you should get by with one set of pads of it's dry. I didn't need to change mine at all last year in six days of DH riding, but some people/some brakes seem to get through them so maybe.
Spare mech hanger?

Burning through a set of pads in a week? Really?
Body armour (well knee pads anyway), helmet?
I've been there and it's a bit hilly!
def a mech hanger - you'll really struggle to buy one out there.

Yup ๐
2/3 sets of brake pads, gear cables, knee pads, full face helmet, spare tyre if you're driving and couple of tubes...probably a shock pump to set your bike up properly for the trails.
I'm going next Friday and can't bloody wait! Have you insured your bike separately against loss or damage etc? My travel insurance covers medical stuff OK but not a high value bike.
I'm driving there on Friday! Can't wait!
I shall also be attending next Monday! Stopping at the Chillichalet.
Going independently as we ski there and I've been few times on the bike although not been for a few years.
Insured me but not the bike as we are going to be pottering, the odd bit of mincing and possibly some jeycore if we feel up to it.
Brake pads eh! I reckon one set'll do as were only there a few days.
I'm fairly excited TBH!
Have fun. Not jealous at all, honest. :Turns green:
rear mech hanger...... Just in case (if it has a replaceable)
i could spoil the whole trip, but only cost a few quid. You can guarantee you'll not find the right one for your frame there.
Bigger tyres than you'd think.
more pads would be sensible, but not that much of a problem.
a short seatpost, for those lazy lift only days.
Luckily I have all the bits mentioned so far except a full face. I think I'm all set!

Bonus!!
In one wet 'lets get off the Mountain' descent I got through a new rear pads, the backing plate and half the piston.
Blimey I rode there in the rain on v brakes pads lasted well, couldn't stop mind you!
