Heading up to Glen Tilt 16th may. Will be leaving from central scotland with space for one bike if anyone needs a lift.

You might want to know that the roads around Pitlochry will be subject to temporary closure and detours that day as the Etape Caledonia is on (4,500 participants plus spectators, families etc.)

Forgot about that .Will find out if it effects the A9

From past experience it doesn't affect the A9 itself but it does affect many of the backroads around Pitlochry/Blair Atholl where you will be - and there are so many people in the area on that whole weekend that the traffic is chaos - best well avoided and saved for a different weekend mate.

It wont affect the A9 and It doesn't go near Blair Atholl
