Can anyone tell me if its possible to find a spare 'tightening strap' that has snapped in two? Its the black piece of plastic between the two adjusters found at the rear of the helmet. I've looked but cannot see any.

I think you just order a whole new Roc Loc assembly for your helmet, they aren't expensive.

if you can reuse the bits off an old hex i have a freshly broken one you can have for nowt.
