Bloody thing is shot and I can't get it out... probably full of crap as it won't go back inside to put the seatpost in.
I can't work out how (or if) it comes out?
Tried gentle levering from the inside and outside but would be more comfortable knowing which direction...
I've tried cleaning with some IPA and then toothbrush, compressor ... and getting lots of particles (quite possibly from years of carbon paste) ...

Short version ... big hammer and a longer 5mm bolt than the one that fits ... then whack from the outside (where torque settings are printed).
All done, cleaned and greased and then carbon paste on the block that goes in/out
