[#476654]

Been wanting to post this for ages, but every time I start to type it out I go flat!

Right, so......
In between the rim and tyre interface I'm gonna fit a thin layer of rubber. That can't be good. Then I'm gonna give it a good covering in fairy liquid and water to make it slippy. Then I'm gonna run it at an inaproppriate pressure.

It just don't make sense to me.

Use the tape method, it's easier and better IME.

@ mrm - that's why I ain't posted afore. I feel like I'm trolling.
@ daim - I already use UST tubless for XC racing. Have done for two seasons. Plus I have no trouble inflating or changing tyres, and only one puncture as the sealant had dried out.

I used this method and it works well as long as your tyres are relatively ight you wont need to mess around with washing p liquid either and you can also get away with a track pump, compressor is more guaranteed tho

@righty - Exactly the method I use. I use Speccy 2Bliss tyres (Eskar) with Stans sealant and they work a treat. I only need CO2 to initally seat the bead of the tyre, after that a track pump is fine.

Been evangelising about it ever since as it feels like a new bike.
